
Harriet Cheelo - Administrative Assistant
Harriet Cheelo is an experienced Administration and Operations Specialist with a strong background in agricultural sciences and agronomic engineering. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resource Management from EARTH University and a Licentiate in Agricultural Engineering, complemented by hands-on experience in knowledge transfer, project coordination, and agricultural research.
Currently serving at the Africa Network for Agricultural Policy Research Institutes (ANAPRI), Harriet plays a key role in logistics management, stakeholder coordination, and operational support, ensuring the smooth execution of agricultural policy research initiatives. Her expertise extends to event planning, procurement, proposal development, and data analysis, making her an invaluable asset in streamlining processes and enhancing institutional efficiency.
With a passion for sustainable agriculture and smallholder farmer empowerment, Harriet has previously worked with AgriEn Network (under the THRIVE project with World Vision International) and CAMFED Zambia, leading initiatives that bridged knowledge gaps and provided farmers with critical resources. Her experience spans climate-smart agriculture, precision agriculture technology, and rural development, demonstrating her commitment to innovative and impactful agricultural solutions.
