Dr Salomo Mbai is the Head of the Agricultural Trade Policy Institute (ATPI) at the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST), where he also lectures in Agribusiness Management. His expertise spans agricultural trade, market development, and macroeconomic analysis, with strong proficiency in statistical tools used in social science research. He has extensive experience in agricultural policy and governance, particularly in connecting livestock farmers to domestic and international markets and undertaking policy analysis to strengthen agricultural value chains in Namibia.

Dr Mbai is recognised for his strategic leadership, ability to foster institutional growth, and well-established professional networks both within Namibia and internationally.
